Terms and Conditions of Trade

  1. Risk and Title: The risk in the goods supplied by Office Furniture First to the purchaser shall pass to the purchaser upon delivery, but the ownership in them shall not pass to the purchaser until the purchaser has paid for the same and has and has discharged all outstanding indebtedness to Office Furniture First whatsoever.  Receipt by Office Furniture First of any cheque or other bill of exchange or promissory note shall not be deemed to be payment of conditional payment until the same has been honoured or cleared and until such time shall not prejudice or affect Office Furniture First’s powers or remedies against the purchaser and/or the goods.
  2. Payment: Total Value of the goods and services listed is due for payment on the 20th of the month following the date of the invoices unless otherwise stated in writing by Office Furniture First.  The purchaser hereby irrevocably gives Office Furniture Fist, its agents and servants leave and licence without the necessity of giving any notice to enter on or into any premises occupied by the purchaser to search for and remove any of the goods to or in which Office Furniture First has ownership as aforesaid without in any way being liable to the purchaser or any person or company claiming through the purchaser.  Any expenses, cost or disbursement incurred by Office Furniture First in recovering any outstanding monies including debt collection agency fees or legal fees shall be recoverable from the purchaser.
  3. Damages: All claims for loss and/or damage to goods at time of delivery and/or installation must be made within seven days after delivery and/or installation date.
  4. Warranty: Goods supplied are based on details supplied by the client.  The extent of Office Furniture First’s liability shall be to replace faulty goods only and it shall not be liable for consequential loss.
  5. Consumer Guarantees Act:The purchaser agrees that it is acquiring the goods for the purposes of a business.  It is a condition that the Consumer Guarantees Act will not apply to any goods acquired for business purposes.
  6. Custom made products: The purchaser agrees that any and all items that have been made to custom requirements specifically for them will not be accepted back for returns.
  7. Large orders: In some instances, large orders may be required to pay a deposit before delivery takes place.
  8. Quotes: All quotes are in New Zealand dollars and do not include GST.  All quotes are for the quantity indicated, should this change there may be variations to pricing.
  9. Freight: All freight is quoted in New Zealand only.  We do not currently offer deliveries outside of New Zealand.
