The Business Showcase 2022, located at The Plymouth Hotel displaying one night only, was a unique deeply immersive experience.
As my Business Showcase debut, I found that although I was nervous, it was extremely informing. Being able to meet new people and talk with them about their careers was a very interesting experience.
Walking around all of the different displays was a great way for me to learn what other businesses, organisations and entities were present, not just in New Plymouth, but Taranaki. I didn’t even manage to go around all of the 70 business stalls that were there!
The ones I did go around were run by the loveliest people, which after talking to them it was also some of their showcase debuts as well.
All in all, I really enjoyed the showcase and despite it only running for two and a half hours, it was still not enough time to visit everyone. I look forward to coming back next year.

To the winner of our Guess the Melteca dimensions competition, Luke Conroy from Bayleys New Plymouth. With the Melteca measuring 1025mm x 295mm we had about 50 guesses and three with the same guess that were the closest, it came down to drawing out of a box.
Well done Luke, we hope you enjoy your new, one-of-a-kind office chair!
